Colonial Merchant Shop: Hands-On Activity Idea

When teaching about Colonial America, it’s beneficial to incorporate simulations whenever possible.

In this Colonial Merchant Shop Simulation, students will utilize their creativity and critical thinking skills to design a store, create a product list, maintain a ledger, craft a sign, and develop an advertisement.

In the video below, I will explain how to help students complete the colonial merchant simulation. You’ll be able to download the slides that I use in the video so that you can use them with your own students!
